Heavy and unwieldy as they are these weapons are manned only by the strongest Gladiators. They’re often crewed by Secutors reassigned from other duties, or by the men who operated the heavy equipment and gimmick weaponry used in the arenas. For this reason field howitzer crews are nicknamed Taurians for their bull-like strength.

Urban War 350 Point Tournament
Congrats to Joe Raiten (aka Saramin) for running his first Urban War mini tournament. Gold medal went to Alexander Cragg, Silver to Chad Jourdar and Bronze to Thomas Arend. It was a close fought event with Alexander's Koralon emerging victorious in the end. Read more at the INN site and here in the forums.

Viridian Shock Marines - Preview, available soon.
Shock Marines are the close combat specialists of the Viridian Armed Forces (VAF), and they have a fearsome reputation. Equipped with powerful Vibro Scythes and high tech Negatron Shields they are extremely effective assault troops. Shock Marines are present in most major engagements and they’re never allowed to rest for long, being constantly shuffled to where the fighting is thickest. VASA Black Legion - Preview, available soon.
The Black Legion is an out-and-out military force. The mere mention that a Black Legion unit has been deployed in the vicinity is often enough to disperse rioting mobs, or shake the resolve of all but the most dedicated of criminals or rebels. These highly mobile soldiers are equipped with jump packs and armed with high tech ION Lances.

Aquila Decianus- Preview, available soon.
Aquila Decianus is a Legionary Standard Bearer. Like all standard bearers, Decianus is an ex convict who won his freedom through feats of outstanding bravery and dedication, and chose to re-enlist as a professional non commissioned officer. Convict Legionaries and the like have great respect for this man, viewing him very much as one of their own.

Salute 08 Show - London - 19.04.08
Once again the Salute show in London was a great success. We had the full trade stand with us, including four custom-made demo tables that were mobbed all day. Thanks to Ash, Barry, Jason and Jay for doing such an excellent job running the demos. The poor chaps looked shell-shocked by the end of the day. Thanks also to the South London Warlords for putting on the event, supportive as ever, a better bunch of lads would be hard to find. More info and pics here.
